Mexico was fabulous! We had a wonderful, relaxing time. It rained more than we would've liked but it was still warm. Our resort was wonderful and every bit what the pictures made it out to look like.
Our room was on the top floor with a breathtaking view of the ocean, pools and palm trees (my personal fave). Sooooooooooooo nice.
I can never get enough of an ocean view. At night we'd leave the patio door open and fall asleep to the sound of the roar of the ocean. No cars, no sirens, no city noises, just ocean.
There was a quiet pool which we really enjoyed leaving others to enjoy the not so quiet pool with swim-up bar. Not our thing but really enjoyed by other travellers who apparently were very thirsty.
Never having stayed at an all-inclusive resort before I had heard lots of stories about the food. Yup, it was all that and a bag of nachos. Fabulous.
I'll write some more in the days ahead. Just tired now and needing to go to bed after a very long day.
