This afternoon I went for the first half of my assessment at the Physiotherapy Clinic. Apparently WCB had said I could start the program afterwards, wrong! The therapist said it's a pretty intensive program, 4 hours a day, 4 days a week. Not designed for people with a) casts on their feet and b) people who can't even stand up on their bad foot.
So...I go for the second half of the assessment tomorrow and they will decide along with WCB the next course of action. Probably physio for a few weeks just to get strong enough to start the program.
Ouch...apparently the pain is not all in my head!
